LCF – Art Contest Winner
Nina Garza was awarded the Grand Prize in the Lemur Conservation Foundation’s 2024 World Lemur Festival Juried Art Contest for her piece titled “Plea from the Shadows.” This accolade also earned her the title of LCF’s 2024 Artist of the Year. Her artwork was featured during the festival, held from October 21–25, 2024, which aimed to raise awareness about the critical endangerment of lemurs and the importance of conservation efforts.
