Flippin' Fun for Sketch for Survival
Nina Garza, founder of Artsefact LLC, submitted her painting “Flippin’ Fun” of a Humboldt Penguin to Sketch for Survival. She tried to capture the essence of vitality as our feathery friend flits and flips through crystal-clear waters. With its flippers fully extended and a gleeful intent evident in its every movement, the penguin seems to dance across the canvas. Despite the sad message of being vulnerable to extinction, the painting invites onlookers to share in its joy.Â
