ABOUT
Meet the ʻŌpeʻapeʻa, an extraordinary, endangered species of bats. Also known as the Hawaiian hoary bat or Lasiurus cinereus semotus, this species can only be found in Hawaii. This drawing was inspired by Inktober 2022, Day 3, prompt “Bat”. The flower depicted here is a white bat flower (Tacca integrifolia), while not native to Hawaii, it found its way into this drawing because of its name. Bat flowers come in black, brown and white varieties and are considered endangered as well.
This piece is perfect for all animal and flower lovers, home decorators, and Halloween fans. Fitting for any room!
With your purchase, you are directly supporting wildlife and forestry!
